What we offer
Regular Check-ups
Routine exams every 6 months to evaluate your oral health and catch problems early — before they require larger interventions.
Professional Cleanings
Removal of plaque, tartar and surface stains by registered dental hygienists. Recommended every 6 months for most adults.
Dental X-rays
Digital, low-radiation imaging to detect hidden decay, infections, bone loss or other issues invisible to the naked eye.
Fillings
Tooth-colored composite fillings to repair cavities and minor damage. We do not use silver amalgam.
Extractions
Safe removal of severely damaged, decayed or problematic teeth — including same-day emergency extractions when needed.
Pit and Fissure Sealants
Protective thin coatings applied to the chewing surfaces of back teeth to prevent cavities. Especially valuable for children and teens.
General dentistry — sometimes called family dentistry — is the foundation of long-term oral health. At Art Dental Studio, our general dentistry program is built around prevention, early detection and treating issues before they become emergencies. Our three South Florida locations (Miami, Cooper City and Kendall) serve patients of all ages, from first-tooth visits to senior dental care. Each location offers evening hours until 8:00 PM Monday through Friday and Saturday hours until 6:00 PM, designed for patients who can't take time off work. All locations operate fully bilingually in English and Spanish.
What is general dentistry?
General dentistry covers the preventive and routine care that keeps your mouth, teeth and gums healthy throughout your life. It includes everything from twice-yearly cleanings and check-ups to fillings, extractions, X-rays and oral cancer screenings.
Unlike cosmetic dentistry (which focuses on appearance) or specialty fields like orthodontics or endodontics (which require additional training), general dentistry is the foundation that supports all other dental work. Even the most beautiful smile design begins with healthy gums, sound bone structure and disease-free teeth — all of which fall under general dentistry.
The American Dental Association recommends a dental check-up and professional cleaning every 6 months for most adults. Patients with periodontal disease, diabetes, or other risk factors may benefit from visits every 3-4 months. During your first visit at Art Dental Studio, we recommend the schedule that best fits your specific dental history.

Why families choose Art Dental Studio for routine care
Three convenient locations
Miami, Cooper City and Kendall — same standard of care across all three. Whichever is closest, your records and treatment plan travel with you.
Evening & Saturday hours
Open until 8:00 PM weekdays and 6:00 PM Saturdays. Designed for working families and parents who can't skip work or pull kids out of school.
Bilingual care
Full English and Spanish service across every location. Front desk, hygienists, doctors and clinical assistants all communicate fluently in both languages.
Multi-specialty team
When routine care reveals a more complex issue (root canal, gum disease, alignment), our in-house specialists handle it without referring you out.

General Dentistry — questions answered.
The American Dental Association recommends a check-up and professional cleaning every 6 months for most healthy adults. Patients with periodontal disease, diabetes, history of gum issues, smokers and those with certain medical conditions often benefit from more frequent visits (every 3-4 months). During your first visit, we recommend a schedule based on your specific situation.

Yes. Art Dental Studio is a family practice — we treat patients of all ages including children. For children under 3, we recommend starting routine visits as soon as the first teeth come in to establish good habits and detect issues early.
Yes. We use digital X-rays which emit far less radiation than the film-based X-rays of previous generations. Standard dental X-rays expose you to less radiation than a typical day of natural background radiation from the environment. Pregnant patients should inform us in advance — we postpone non-urgent X-rays during pregnancy as a precaution.
Dental anxiety is extremely common — many of our patients experience some level of it. We offer multiple comfort options including extra appointment time, breaks during treatment, sedation options for longer procedures, and clear step-by-step explanation of everything happening. Tell our team in advance and we adjust your visit accordingly.
Yes — same-day emergency appointments are available whenever possible. If you have severe tooth pain, a knocked-out tooth, a broken restoration or facial swelling, call your nearest location immediately: Miami (305) 922-2262 · Cooper City (954) 233-0707 · Kendall (305) 395-3330.
