As an Invisalign Preferred Provider, we have access to all Invisalign treatment tiers and the latest aligner technology. For patients who prefer traditional methods or who have more complex cases, we offer both clear sapphire braces and traditional metal braces. For most adult patients, Invisalign delivers the same results as traditional braces with major lifestyle advantages — the aligners are removable for eating, brushing and special occasions. For very complex cases (severe bite issues, rotated teeth, surgical orthodontics) traditional braces may produce more predictable results. Dr. Yilian will recommend the right option for your specific case during the free consultation.
Invisalign aligners should be worn 20-22 hours per day for treatment to progress on schedule. You remove them only for eating, drinking anything other than water, and brushing/flossing. Patients who don't commit to the wear time often see treatment extend significantly — wear discipline is the biggest factor in success.
No. There is no upper age limit for orthodontic treatment — what matters is the health of your teeth and supporting bone, not your age. The majority of Art Dental Studio's orthodontic patients are adults. Many patients in their 40s, 50s and 60s successfully complete Invisalign treatment.
Yes — lifetime retention is required after any orthodontic treatment. Teeth naturally try to shift back to their original positions, and without retainers most patients see significant relapse within 1-2 years. We provide your first set of retainers as part of your treatment.
Yes — Invisalign treatment is considered safe during pregnancy. No anesthesia, no X-rays specifically required for routine progress visits. Notify Dr. Yilian if you become pregnant during treatment so we can adjust the visit schedule and skip non-essential X-rays.
Yes — Art Dental Studio offers Invisalign Teen, which includes compliance indicators on aligners (blue dots that fade) and free replacement of up to 6 lost aligners per case. We treat teens at all three locations.
