Patient Testimony Smile Redesign
Honestly, it’s been such a beautiful experience. Not only did my teeth turn out absolutely amazing, but everyone here feels like family. The way you treat the artists and every patient who walks through the doors of this clinic—it honestly blew me away. I’m truly happy with the results. I couldn’t be more pleased with how everything turned out.
— Lenier Mesa, Cuban Singer & Songwriter
Neta, estoy contento.
Cosmetic & General Dentistry Services
When Lenier Mesa first came to Art Dental Studio, he wasn't looking for just another dental experience. He had lived with a previous Smile Design that had become an example of the overly bulky, artificial look associated with early cosmetic dentistry. For years, people had even used his previous smile as a reference for what they didn't want their veneers to look like.
But Lenier was ready for a change. After being introduced to Dr. Vivian Menendez's work, he initially wasn't sure whether he wanted to replace his teeth. He had become accustomed to his previous smile and even felt comfortable with it.
But after speaking with Dr. Vivian, he decided to trust the team with a complete Smile Redesign. The treatment involved removing the existing porcelain, preparing and repositioning his natural teeth, and redesigning the smile with a focus on natural proportions, translucency, anatomy, and harmony. The porcelain levels were also corrected in relation to the gums, addressing the previous design's positioning and creating a healthier, more natural integration.
The final result was intentionally different from the overly white, oversized aesthetic Lenier had experienced before. Instead, the team selected a more natural shade and incorporated handcrafted details into the porcelain to create texture, dimension, and individuality. That philosophy is at the heart of Lenier's transformation: a beautiful Smile Design doesn't have to look artificial.
His new smile was designed to look like it belonged to him—not like something placed on top of his face.
